[MPICH] Setting the stripe size for a file using mpich2

Hi Everybody,

Is there any way I could set the stripe size of a file (created on a
pvfs2 filesystem) using MPICH2 hints or some other API. I was looking
through the source code of mpich2 and couldn't find any such hint or
does it have to be done using only pvfs API's?

I would appreciate your suggestions and help,
