[MPICH] Specifying a timeout for MPI_Comm_Accept

Hi!

I read in "Using MPI-2" that there may be a way to set a timeout value
for MPI_Comm_Accept/Connect via the MPI_Info parameter -- but it's
implementation specifc.

I tried the example key "timeout" from the book but I did not succeed in
producing a timeout for MPICH2. Is there any timeout key for MPICH2? Do
I have to solve this by using a lurking background thread?
