[MPICH] MPICH2 and PVFS2

Well, I work much more closely with MPICH2.  Let's see if you still
observe this bug with MPICH2 over GM.   If you use MPICH2 or OpenMPI,
we still might have to debug the ROMIO component, so let's make sure
that works for you.

I don't know what the status of MPICH2 on MX is.  I hope someone will
chime in and let you know.
