[MPICH] mpicc versus purify

I have not used purify, but you could try editing the mpicc script and
replacing the compiler name from say gcc to "purify gcc".

I need to 'purify' an MPI application.  But purify does not know mpicc.
I like to ask if someone have gone thru the pain of getting this to work ?
