[MPICH] mpiexec error

Hi,
I am compiling Centos linux 3.6. a few other notes:
- I can confirm that the directory exists
- the binary has permissions to run (chmod 755)
- The error: [0] invalid root port specified: 0, traces back to
smpd_ipmi.c (~ line 425)
Any suggestions?
