[MPICH] MPICH@ 1.0.4p1 build falure on SUN niagara

when configured using  --with-device=ch3:ssm

error is on : PTRACE_ATTACH undefined

src/mpid/ch3/util/shm/shmproc.c

there are 2 more places with the same error.  taking out ssm make the build pass.

any idea ?
