Dear all,
I'm a beginner in MPI and I would like to ask you some questions:
1. Is it possible to use MPICH2 or MPICH1 in heterogeneus systems?
2. Is there any configuration file where you could specify the
architecture feautures of each node?
I mean, it seems like in mpd.hosts is not possible to specify more than
the host address and cpu's available, but I wonder what happens if among
the nodes, there are some based on Power architecture, and other based
on Intel one, so little/big problems could appear.
I wonder that because it seems like MPICH1 or MPICH2 are designed for
homogeneus systems like a cluster, but not, for example, for the grid.
Jonathan
