[MPICH] MPICH2 -- stdin error when running in background?

Hey there everyone...

I'm trying to run some code in MPICH2 and I get the following error after 
submitting the job with mpdboot in the background:

mpiexec_ct21 (handle_stdin_input 1027): stdin problem; if pgm is run in 
background, redirect from /dev/null

Any ideas what might be happening here?
