Rajeev,

I know that it works with PathScale's compilers on i386 and x86_64,
and I think the same is true for Intel (not just ia64). Otherwise, how
did I find the missing "memory" dependency in the ssm inline assembly,
that I reported as a bug a while ago? ;-)
