can you send me the file directly?
I can't download it from there. It is not too big, is it?
It seems to be a problem with the tree creation
There were some changes lately

Thanks,
Iulian

~/Desktop/fathom/meshkit-git/pshriwise-meshkit-4d07ffc4f849/example$ ~/Desktop/fathom/moab/bin/mbsize N2601082.stl
File N2601082.stl:

I download it from the http://cncartguild.forumotion.net/t176-stone-horse. It is used in the paper "EBMesh: An Embedded Boundary Meshing Tool Hong-Jun Kim1 and Timothy J. Tautges2". I will try mbsize N*.stl.

It is using moab's stl reader
Try to read the stl file with moab
(you can try mbsize N2601082.stl), there could be some problems with the model
Where is this file from?

It has to be watertight geometry, otherwise ray tracing will fail.

Subject: about meshkit using stl as input

Hi, Iulian,

I have another question about stl input in ebmesh

Here is my running and output:

./example_ebmesh N2601082.stl 1 10 10 10 1 output2.h5m 0.03 5 | tee output.log
starting to construct obb tree.
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'MeshKit::Error'
  what():  EBMesher.cpp, line 2148: N2601082.stl: Success

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks

Zhiyong Hu
