Lunch on the Grid, Sept. 27

   NDSU would like to reserve the AG Jack Frost virtual venue (or another if
that is taken) from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, September 27,
2000 for a demonstration and lunch on the grid.  Known sites are NDSU,
University of Kansas Chemical Engineering, University of Kansas Academic
Computer Services, and ANL (I mentioned this to Lisa) but others are welcome.

   We plan to set up and test from 11 a.m. - Noon CDT with the demo sometime
between Noon and approximately 1 p.m. CDT.  Since this is a demo we're planning
to use net audio only.  Our local phone number in the room is  701-231-9455  if
you need to reach us during the event.

   We are planning an informal demo during lunch here for our local Internet2
Advisory Council (mostly faculty) and the director and the Research
Collaboration Coordinator for the Great Plains Network.  This will give us a
chance to show some of the local faculty the facility.  We do not plan a formal
program and there are other items on the local agenda during the scheduled time
but we would welcome any sites to drop in and join us for lunch (or at least a
virtual lunch) on the grid.
