My fear with using attendees' laptops is that we spend too much time with
configuration and building (e.g., does the attendee have CMAKE or the right
version of autotools?) or that some build/configuration issue arises that we
can't resolve in the tutorial time.  I liked Lori's idea of having guest
accounts where we can control the environment and set it up in advance.  Of
course, we should have CDs with the appropriate software available for
attendees to take home.
