itaps-parallel ITAPS tutorial submission for SC08

Lori,
I would have thought that for the SC08 we would be more focused on the
parallel parts and their importance.
Although its obvious that I am not useful for the hand-on and detailed
software stuff, I am willing to do other parts of the tutorial if you
would like. In any case the RPI team will provide input and slides for
any parts that people would like us to that we can cover.
