[AG-USERS] New install on Windows

I did send the following support question to <ag-support at mcs.anl.gov> a few
days ago but have not yet received a response and was encouraged to ask the
question here by the recent response to [AG-USERS] error on osx, but please
advise me if this is the wrong place to ask this type of question.
I have recently installed the Access Grid Venue Client but cannot get it to
work. I have downloaded Python-2.3.5,
wxPython2.5-win32-unicode-2.5.4.1-py23 and AGTk-2.3-Py-2.3 and installed
them in that sequence. I am running this on Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition.
All appears to have installed correctly and I have the desk top icon to
start the Access Grid Venue Client but it does not start. I get the
hourglass for a few moments and then nothing.
I am trying to run this on a new computer, less than a few weeks old, and so
I wonder if there is something new that the access grid software has not yet
caught up with.
In addition, I first downloaded and installed the latest version of Python
before I discovered that the AGTk-2.3-Py-2.3 installation asked for a
version of Python 2.3. I uninstalled everything before I installed
Python-2.3.5, wxPython2.5-win32-unicode-2.5.4.1-py23 and AGTk-2.3-Py-2.3. I
have also uninstalled and reinstalled that.
Can anyone help here or suggest where I might go to for help?
