*AGJuggler: An architecture for Virtual Reality within a collaboration
environment, by Dioselin Gonzalez*
*Location:* Envision Center Access Grid room - this presentation will
also be made available via Access Grid, in the Purdue Institutional
Venue - AG attendees are requested to enter the venue ahead of time for
A/V functionality check.
*Time:* Friday, April 8, 3:30pm (presentation is expected to last
approximately 40 minutes) - Please note that Purdue is on EST, not
Daylight Savings Time. This essentially means that we are currently on
the same time as those in the Central time zone.
Light snacks and beverages will be available - only to those attendees
physically located in the Envision Center ;)
Dioselin Gonzalez is an M.S. student in the department of Computer
Graphics Technology at Purdue University. She obtained a 5-years B.S.
degree in Computer Science, Cumlaude mention, from Simon Bolivar
University in Venezuela, South America. Dioselin works in the Envision
Center for Data Perceptualization at Purdue [www.envision.purdue.edu],
where she is involved in research about Collaborative Virtual Reality.
Her M.S. thesis is the design of an architecture for Virtual Reality
(VR) applications within a collaborative framework, and implementation
of AGJuggler, a reusable toolkit for enabling existing VRJuggler
applications to run collaboratively in the Access Grid^(TM).
For the demo part of the presentation, the InterPlay: Loose Minds in a
Box AGJuggler application will be shown. Attendees are invited to
download the application and join the session. Binaries and
installation instructions are available at
