[AG-TECH] AG Venue Client Text chat question

Hi there,

One of the AG nodes that I am helping resolve a problem with seems to
have difficulty communicating over the AG Venue Text Chat. They have
tested it on a couple of different computers within their University
network with still the same problems. All other aspects of Access Grid
works perfectly on the computer except the jabber text.

Symptoms are whenever they type something into the AG Venue Client text
area, their typed message doesn't appear, however everyone else who is
connected to that room can see their text which they typed. Also they
cannot see anyone else's text messages being sent.

They have multicast natively on their university backbone and can also
successfully connect to unicast bridges. Their firewall rules allow all
incoming and outgoing TCP and UDP ports between 1024 - 65535 to their AG
computer.

They aren't aware of anything in their network that would be blocking
jabber sessions.

Just wanted to see if anyone else out there may have experienced similar
problems or possible ways around this. Any thoughts would be greatly
appreciated.

Cheers,

Nathan
