[AG-TECH] venue server setup question

Tom,

Attached is a portion of my log where I entered the venue, tried to upload the same document twice, and then left the venue.  As far as the firewall I have been told that ports 8000 and 8006 are open to external hosts.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Is there any indication of an error in the VenueServer log?

Is traffic on port 8006 allowed, or blocked by any firewall?

No, I'm just trying to get the FTP working.  Right now, if you connect to our Venue: https://usd-venue.usd.edu:8000/Venues/default we cannot upload any documents.

If I connect to the venue from the venue server itself, I am able to upload documents.  Is this a permissions issue?

The permissions default to allowing all permissions for everyone, so that should be working. Are you trying to set some more restrictive permissions?
