[AG-TECH] Asking again...

I can't say anything about your WinXP problem, sorry.

I have been running AG 3.2b on Windows 7 Ent., both 32 and
64 bit without a problem - just disable the multicast beacon
and it works fine.
Tools -> Preferences -> Network -> uncheck multicast beacon box
I replaced our old webcams, which may never have Windows 7 drivers,
with Logitech® QuickCam® Vision Pro for Mac

This camera uses the USB Video Class (UVC) drivers and seems to
work fine on Windows, Mac and Linux as long as you don't require
the fancy Logitech control interface.
In vic on Windows, choose the "USB Video Device" driver.
We bought the Mac versions because they were easier to get and
we had one person trying them on all the machines he could plug it
into. There's a Windows version that looks the same and is
cheaper but I haven't got any experience with how they work across
platforms: Logitech® Webcam Pro 9000

I wonder if any of you have seen this issue:

Win XP SP2, standard setup, firewall, antivirus off. AG Toolkit 3.2
properly installed. When the venue client starts the process phytonw is
killed in 3 seconds after it is fired up, killing the client as well.
When I down-grade to v3.1 (beta 1 or 2), the client is not killed any
more, but it gets stuck at the "loading node configuration" step and
never proceeds. I haven't seen this before and I would appreciate your
insights. I tried everything I could think of.

Also, any success with running AG on Windows 7 ?

Thanks!
