Hi Venhuizen

By control computer I assume you mean the one where you run the Venue
Client GUI?

If so, either static or dynamic ip on that machine is fine.

If you are running Fedora Core Linux and you have a static IP on your
'control' computer is suggest you update your /etc/hosts file as
outlined here http://www.accessgrid.org/node/420
