It also worked well on iBook G4 with Plantronics DSP-400 headset. The audio
quality is great.

Subject: [AG-TECH] Mac USB microphone update

It looks like there are some USB microphones that can work with the recent
Access Grid mac release. Thanks to Dwight Mckay for trying his
Plantronics USB mic. Dwight successfully used a Plantronics DA50, so we
tried our Plantronics DSP 100 also with success.
Of course these are not guarantees of anything, but if you have the
same or similar microphones, it would be worthwhile to try them or to wait
and see if other people verify any additional microphones that work. If
you do try a new microphone, listen closely to make sure it's not just
almost working -- where speech from the microphone sounds lower and the
audio will skip.

One more note: When using the current version of the rat audio tool for
OSX, the selection of a different audio device should be done through the
general system preferences, not in the rat user interface, and probably
not while rat is running.
