Which suggests that the Osprey doesn't suffer from that problem? How 
does it get around it? Is the driver just smart enough that they grab 
whatever source is free?

Ah, apparently not so good after all...

On your VIC windows, try the 'release' and 'configure on transmit' for 
the different ones. The MDM driver SHOULD ask for what input to capture 
from, just like every other windows capture card/device I've seen.

I think you're going to get that same problem with any multiple input or 
even multiple single card under windows. It's not the Spectra8, it's VIC 
and Windows. VIC doesn't know what to pull from (I mentioned it in a 
previous post). It's just a fact of life with the current VIC under 
Windows. Until it stores more info in its config as to what input on the 
'MDM capture' driver it's using, that problem will remain.
