[AG-TECH] Best single machine *Linux* hardware setup

I've seen discussion of the best hardware to have for a single machine AG
setup, but what is anyone having joy with as a Linux based single node setup.

Ideally I'd like a setup that could be used with AG1 or 2, under Linux or
Windows, but it really *must* work under Linux.
