Dear Dr. Allan Spale,
Thank you very much for your reply! EVL's work sounds very nice! And look forward to your good news about porting RAT to Pocket PC and let VVP support 2-way video (can act as a sender and receiver). Motorola's handhelds AG can only run the Linux OS. What's a pity!
Is there any VIC or RAT Pocket PC version instead of Linux version in the world? Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Xie Bo

Xie Bo,
EVL has done some work with porting VIC to a iPaq Pocket PC. Because the
bandwidth used by all the video streams is quite high and the screen
resolution is low, the program allows you to select a video stream to view
on the screen. Additionally, because AG VIC uses multicast, there needs
to be a multicast-unicast bridge that that Pocket PC connects in order to
receive the stream.
EVL has also done some work with porting RAT to Pocket PC, but the project
has not been completed yet.
Motorola has also done work in this area. Some links that might be useful
include the following:
* VIC and RAT on iPaq: http://internet2.motlabs.com/ipaq/index.htm
* Handhelds for Collaboration:

* Access Grid at Motorola:

I hope this information helps.
