[AG-TECH] Fedora C2 & Ospreys

Hi list

I have the same problem with RedHat 9.0 and AG 2.2

As I wanted to use the S-Video port of my Pinnacle PCTV cards.

I tried to debugged a bit ...

AG seems to write the correct port into the /tmp/xzy.vic file. this file
is given to vic as a script (-u). vic does not care about the command in
  the script:
set defaultPort($device) "S-Video"

i tried some variations of that command and also the
Option Vic.defaultPort($device)
command.

Hardwiring the port ("S-Video") in vic helped. but is probably not a
solution ;)

so i wrote an email to vic at cs.ucl.ac.uk

have a nice day

christoph

PS: i also updated a bug report. concerning the saving and loading of
VideoProduducerService (the port information gets lost while loading).
