[AG-TECH] Fedora Core 2 install : rpm or source?

hi.
i'm trying to install AG2.2 on an FC2 machine using the binaries.
i had to grab xawtv and build it since i haven't found it in Fedora2.
is there a way to get the AG2.2 rpm to notice a non-rpm xawtv, or am i
SOL?
