It's different from most linux installs (minus lfs maybe) in that
there really is no installer at this time. You boot from a livecd,
(2004.3 is the latest I believe ) load the modules needed for network
support and partition your drives with fdisk.. Then you chroot your
new environment and start untaring install tarballs from there.

If you're unfamiliar with this method, the install guide does a fairly
good job of guiding you through step by step. Of course I'd be happy
to answer any questions you may have as well.
