Hello Jim,

I am experiencing the error message when I try to install AG.2.0 on my
laptop (this is a new install as oppose to an upgrade). I installed
ActiveState Python 2.2 and wxPython 2.4.0 followed by the toolkit and I
get the same error message. My system is an IBM Thinkpad T40 series -
this is a new system and I have only had it for a couple of weeks. It
has the latest critical updates installed? I searched the hard drive
and the file exists in VS Runtime Environment directory. I copied the
file from the RUNTIME directory to Windows\System32 directory and the
install completed but, it is complaining about the GLOBUS HOSTNAME
Environment?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Subject: [AG-TECH] Problems with AG 2 install.

Hello all,
I am trying to upgrade the node at NDSU to use the new AG 2 software.
The one OS I wasn't worried about was the Windows XP (I have done 2
computers with that already and made it work. I download the three
files today and installed them in the order given Activepython,
wxpython, AG toolkit. Here's the problem, at the very end of the
toolkit install I get an error pop up that says something about
msvcr.dll being missing and maybe reinstalling the ap will help. I
tried the installs again backwards and forwards, and nothing helps, I
get that error every time on my display machine. Any ideas, anyone seen
this before? Thanks in advance.
