It seems that my install might have gone awry.  I'm going to reinstall the OS, reinstall AG 2.1.1 and see how things go.  The shortcut that is created on the desktop includes the "--personalnode" option, but for some reason, my rat and vic window would not come up.

I didn't try running them from the command prompt before I started my reinstall.

Which leads up to my follow up:

Are others finding themselves reinstalling since a change in configuration/preference seems to cause problems that only a reinstallation will fix?  I've experienced this with other apps on various OS's, but it seems like ALL installs I have performed on various hardware/software configurations have their little quirks.

Feedback?
