[AG-TECH] 2.0 Install Successes

I've successfully installed the 2.0 software on to Debian with not too
many modifications. Took a little time since it was my first linux
install - and my first install of any AG software. I never had a chance
to really look at version 1.2 so I didn't know exactly what to expect.

My first question/comment involves the AGServiceManager.py code. It may
be a RedHat anomale but in the AGServiceManager code it calls for
python2 and in AGNodeManager it calls for python2.2 . This was not a
problem when I looked on a Red Hat machine here at Ames Lab, but with
Debian there's only python2.2. Is this a bug or is this intended?

Secondly I was wondering if anyone had had problems with their video
being black and white. I've messed around with vic in the test room for
the last few hours and had a few successes making a video stream into
color but then tried to replicate the process and had it fail. Was
wondering if anyone else had this type of problem.

Thanks to everyone who helped in the install process with getting me
going - I hope to have a Debian HOW-TO style document here in the next
few weeks. The install goes pretty quick and is fairly painless if all
of the current documentation is followed with the addition of a few key
steps discussed in this list.

Thanks again,

-Jason
