[AG-TECH] 1.x and 2.x on same machine

Tried it here, with good results.  It has the nice side effect of upgrading
rat to the newer version, which includes per remote site volume controls in
the main window instead of buried in the menus.  Other than that, there
haven't been any noticable effects.
