We've used JVC 1281 cameras for some time, and they fit your
requirement, but are now more expensive than Sony EVI-D100's!!!

Can anyone recommend a good camera for use with Access Grid that is
not remote controlled, tripod mountable, and does not record to tape.
I'm looking for just an eye on a tripod.
