[AG-TECH] Beer Symposium

I think it depends how you define mechanical - one could argue that
Daedalus and Icarus attempted "mechanical" flight - trim those
feathers and wax, boys!  

Anyway, in particular, I had airplanes in mind, though there are
many different mechanisms an AG symposium could address.
