[AG-TECH] FireWire Cameras and VIC

Does anybody out there use Firewire connected/capable cameras with their 
grid node? I was playing around with a cannon XL1 over the weekend with 
windows media encoder and real producer and was surprised with the video 
quality over the WinTV capture cards. I immediately started to wonder 
about VIC and Firewire devices but did not have the time to test it out.
