[AG-TECH] AG connection problems (AGServicemanager)

I think I figured out what the problem was. I'm not sure, but I'll post it here anyway, as I think it might be helpful to you and others.

The problem was caused, as you said, by the grid-proxy certificate being expired (or seeming to be expired for the venue machine). In my case that was cause by a major difference in system times of the participating systems. I installed a ntp daemon and had all systimes updated and kept in synch. After that I never ran into the same problem again (apart from ntp not updating the BIOS clock) it seemed to work perfect.
