[AG-TECH] rat on Mac OS X

Hello,
Just wonder if anyone had luck with compiling rat on Mac OS X?
As far as I know there is only vat version for this os ( bit limited
features) 
I have noticed that there could be an Access Grid toolkit for Mac X,
would it use an open mash?
