i always get a lag of 20 seconds to a minute between typing something and having it show up as me saying it.

yep, i still get a pretty bad lag from whatever i type.

same here.  i've assumed that it's an issue with the server, which
i assume is running at argonne.  other network connections seem fine,
so hard to blame it on that.  is it possible that this is an argonne
server issue?  not trying to place blame, just inquiring!
