Dell Precision Workstation 530 (or a later model).

Stay away from servers, stick with Dual Processor Workstations with
Pentium IVs with RDRAM 800.

Lots of PCI bandwidth, lots of memory bandwidth, lots of CPU bandwidth,
lots of CPU cache.

Can anyone tell me what they think is the absolute best video endoding
machine...?  I ended up with a dual processor PC that has a Serverworks
chip.  It had a real problem running multiple monitors... and has never
seemed to render very well, we end up with massive loss.  Does anyone
have
a success story with  a particular machine?  We are looking for a
replacement.
