[AG-TECH] PIG?

Ivan,

I'll get in line to report a bug. I tried PIG with some modifications
(i.e. editing the XML file to have only one capture card show up). That
worked. However, using OpenMASH VIC with my capture card caused
everything to appear in a bluish tint. I selected my video card which
appeared in the devices, so I think I was at least receiving the correct
video source. I switched back to another version of VIC I was using just
to make sure nothing changed, and my video was perfect. This has to be
the oddest thing I have seen. Plus, with no way to adjust the video
image, I did not want to spend the time guessing what went wrong. The
card was the Hauppauge WinTV card.

Let me also request a feature based on how I was able to get PIG to work.
Although we are not fully subscribing to the AG minimal hardware
specification, we do have one camera and one microphone on a single
Pentium III with a lot of memory. It would be nice to have the option of
only running one instance of VIC running that does the capture and
displays the video instead of what would be the ddvic and one instance of
OpenMASH vic. It helps conserve resources.

Thanks.
