[AG-TECH] New beacon server being tested

Hi --

The new NLANR perl beacon server is now up and running with output 
available at

         http://beaconserver.accessgrid.org:9999/

Please let the NLANR crew at beacon at dast.nlanr.net know if you have any 
problems. If your beacon doesn't show up there, it probably needs to be 
restarted. Either reboot the machine it's running on, or restart it by 
first killing the process manually:

         ps awux|grep Beacon

find the process id of the beacon, and kill it.

Then run /etc/rc.d/init.d/nlanr-beacon start (if you've installed with the 
AGiB) installation.
