I recall seeing this happen once or twice in the past, but never really 
looked into it.  I suspect some OS-related problem wrt. multicast packets 
not getting looped back as they should be.

Which OS is running at each end?  (I assume you're running your tunnel 
between liveGate and multikit)

(BTW, with UMTP tunneling (e.g., liveGate<->multikit or 
liveGate<->liveGateForIntranets) there's really no distinction between "the 
unicast end" and "the multicast end".  Each end of the tunnel does 
multicast; unicast is used just for the tunnel traffic.)
