just to clarify, we changed the syntax to be s at g instead of s,g.
if you grab a current binary or source release, you also need to
apply a patch from the mailing list although if you grab source
from our cvs repository that ought to work...

we have neither ssm infrastructure nor an xp machine with
a suitable development environment available here but if
anybody is able to build mash with ssm support under xp i
would be interested in hearing about your experience and
would gladly commit any patches needed to make it work...
