[AG-TECH] AG audio indigestion

One of my AG audio machines suffered a power outage and fsck'd itself to
death. Since it was a machine with an i810 display chip & the Software
page indicated you could install the AG audio stuff on Redhat 7.1, I
installed RedHat 7.1 on machine and then ran the update script from the
AG Software download pages.

I still have no sound .. I get a message from the log:
 agaudio oss-sound: Starting sound configuration:
agaudio oss-sound: OSS driver (sndshield) is already loaded
agaudio oss-sound: Use soundoff to unload it and try again.
agaudio oss-sound: Value of mixer control extmic.micboost set to OFF
agaudio oss-sound: Value of mixer control extmic.micbias set to OFF
agaudio oss-sound: Value of mixer control mute.micmute set to ON
agaudio oss-sound: Value of mixer control mute.linemute set to ON
agaudio oss-sound: Value of mixer control mute.pcm2mute set to ON
agaudio oss-sound: SNDCTL_MIX_NREXT: No such device or address
agaudio oss-sound: SNDCTL_MIX_NREXT: No such device or address
agaudio oss-sound: sound
agaudio oss-sound: SNDCTL_MIX_NREXT: No such device or address
agaudio last message repeated 2 times
agaudio rc: Starting oss-sound: succeeded

Any quick advice? I noticed in /usr/lib/oss it says it support 2.4.12.
The other audio machine that works is a machine I built a 2.4.12 kernel
on. I'm also wondering if I need to get a new oss license for RH 7.1

sheesh ... a bad time for a power hit on a disk.
