[AG-TECH] Please reserve Bridgeport for small test

    Please reserve the Bridgeport room for some testing today, Thursday,
June 7, 2001, from 3-5 p.m. CDT (2000-2200 UTC) between NDSU and LBL. 
We had hoped to just drop into the test room but an auto accident in the
Twin Cities triggered an electrical fire in the manhole and melted all
the fiber where the Abilene OC12 connection from our gigapop (Northern
Lights) was running.  Restoration is complicated by the power grid setup
and problems with errors on backup links.
Anyway, all this means we may need to use an emergency bridge for
testing so we need one of the "legacy" VV rooms.

   I apologize for the short notice but just wanted to stake my claim to
avoid confusion.
