Not sure what you're looking for in "high frame rate", but there are two
very nice Sony firewire cameras we're just starting to work with (Sony
is releasing beta drivers in about 2 weeks). The DFW-X700 does up to
1024x768 @ 15 fps and the DFW-SX900 does up to 1280x1024 @ 7 fps. The
great part about these is how cheap they are (relatively speaking). The
X700 is ~ $2300 street and the SX900 is about $4000. Both accept
C-mount lenses.

Details are on the Sony website at

Subject: [AG-TECH] Hi-rez video

We are building two AccessGrids and are in need of the ability to
deliver
multiple high resolution and high frame rate video (broadcast quality)
streams in addition to the traditional h.261 video streams used by the
Access Grid today. Anybody have any ideas or experience?
