[AG-TECH] RedHat 7.1 & audio

I think that I have tried both the default RH7.1 (which seems to be from
the OSS-Free project, or whatever exactly it's called), and the
recommended for-pay OSS version.  I say I think because the OSS install
didn't look quite the way I expected, and I'm not convinced that I got
it right.  

The default driver definitely works for local playback and recording. 
Things are further confused because I have been trying this on several
different boxes, ranging from dual-processor Xeon to dual-processor PII,
and I'm not sure what (if anything) that effects.
