[AG-TECH] Virtual Environments REU research conference

This is the final week of WVU's NSF-funded
	Virtual Environments Research Experiences for Undergraduates
site.  This Thursday afternoon and all day Friday we'll have a meeting
(broadcast over the Access Grid) at which students and faculty mentors
will present their work.

I'd appreciate your letting faculty at your sites who might be
interested in attending know.

Friday, August 3

9:00 Haptic Math (using PHANToM to display functions)

10:30 Haptics Workshop
	Alderson Broaddus College received funding from the
	Appalachian College Association to conduct a 4 week
	workshop on using the PHANToM.  Faculty and undergraduates
	from three undergraduate instituions participated.
	Students from this workshop will demonstrate their projects.
11:30 Art Project
