ACCESS GRID DOCUMENTATION PROJECT
http://www.accessgrid.org/agdp/

On behalf of the AGDP team, I am happy to announce the launch of the
Access Grid Documentation Project (AGDP). The AGDP's goal is to provide a
canonical, free, and comprehensive set of documentation for the Access
Grid.

Many of you first heard about the AGDP during the Access Grid Technical
Retreat in January at Argonne National Laboratories. We've made great
progress since then, are ready to begin soliciting and receiving
documents, and have resources in place to facilitate this process. Our
web site includes:

* Our Manifesto
* Authors' Guide, including
  - guidelines on choosing topics
  - links to templates
  - document conventions
  - technical considerations for AGDP authors
* Wish List and Works in Progress

If you would like to join the agdp-announce mailing list, to receive
notification whenever new documents are made available at the AGDP, send
mail to majordomo at accessgrid.org with a blank subject line and the words
"subscribe agdp-announce" in the body of the message (omit the quotes).

The AGDP, like the Access Grid itself, is and will continue to be a
community effort. The National Computational Science Alliance (Alliance)
has supported the founding of the AGDP, and continues to fund a
substantial portion of the AGDP's project team, as well as a substantial
amount of documentation currently under development. Staff members of
inSORS are also active members on the AGDP project team.

I hope you will join us in continuing to develop this valuable resource
for the AG Community.

Yours,
Jennifer Teig von Hoffman
