Howdy, although the AG hardware specs suggest that the actual
computers used for an AGN can be chosen with some flexibility,
I see that ANL has ordered custom configurations from SAG
Electronics (who happen to have a web page, I noticed -
www.sagelectronics.com. Or, if you're focused on western
images, you can think of it as www.SageLectronics.com :) :).

Does this imply that SAG Electronics is knowledgeable about
AGN's and might be much easier to work with than other vendors
who may make certain substitutions? Naturally, I can just
give a vendor the same specs you provided, but I feel more
comfortable giving it to a vendor that knows what works.

At this point, I'm pulling my hair trying to convince our
over-zealous purchasing department that I don't want to make
lower-cost substitutions on projectors, etc. Arrgghh!!
Luckily, our research VP is paying for this, so I can have
him pull rank if necessary :)
