Folks,

I'd like to publicly thank the tech team that supported the Globus tutorial
for its superb work.  Steve Tuecke was able to teach and interact with
attendees for two solid days without being interrupted by technical
problems.  He was very pleased with the AG as a presentation space.  Each
and every one of you helped to set a new standard for AG event hosting.

Special mentions include:
* The Amazing Al Bautista, who had the most challenging operating
responsibilities during "showtime", and did them all single-handedly,
* Russ Wolf, for leading a very cool effort to balance telco and net audio
levels across the grid,
* Joe Insley, who did a super job organizing the slides, making it really
EASY to handle the 17 sets used in the tutorial,
* Folks at UKy for providing a stable, high-quality net<->telco audio bridge
throughout the tutorial,
* Folks at NCSA, who worked their butts off getting two nodes up and running
despite many obstacles,
* All who participated in the extra cruises required to work out the new
audio protocols and to test vnc,
* Thanks also to KU, OSC and EVL for being patient and waiting for the next
globus tutorial to  participate!
