BU Instructional Technology event 12/13 10AM Eastern

BU TLTR MEETING
December 13, 2000
10AM - noon Eastern time (pre-meeting tests begin at 9AM Eastern)

WHO:
The Boston University Teaching and Learning Technology Roundtable.
This is a group of self-selected faculty and staff at BU who are
interested in the use of instructional technologies. There is generally
broad involvement from the University, usually including representation
from the Provost's office.

So far this group has focused its discussions almost exclusively on
web-based training.

WHAT:
This event is the regularly monthly meeting of this group, which usually
starts with a 60-90 minute presentation, followed by brainstorming.

This month the topic is the Access Grid as an example of synchronous
technology for instructional use. Featured speakers are Lisa Childers,
Leslie Southern, Steve Gordon (I think), and myself.
